1. Introduction
Welcome to Adelaide Chemical Solutions Pty Ltd. By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these terms. Please read them before placing an order.
2. Product information
Product descriptions. We take care to describe our products accurately. The specification, purity and grade shown on a product page are accurate to the best of our knowledge, and a batch specific Certificate of Analysis is available on request. If you need a product to meet a particular specification, contact us before ordering and we will confirm whether it does.
Handling and safety. Some of our products require careful handling. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the knowledge, training and equipment to store, handle and use them safely, and to comply with any laws that apply to their purchase or use. We are not responsible for misuse of our products.
3. Orders and payment
Order acceptance. All orders are subject to acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order, including where a product is unavailable, where there has been a pricing or description error, where we are not satisfied the sale complies with the law, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Payment. Payment is required in full before dispatch. Prices are in Australian dollars. Once you select your size and postage option, the price shown is the total you pay, with delivery included. Prices may change without notice.
Changes and cancellations. Once an order is placed it cannot be changed or cancelled without our agreement. If we agree to a change, a fee may apply.
4. Delivery
Where we ship. We ship within Australia only.
Delivery times. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier or by circumstances outside our control.
Risk. Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to you.
Problems on arrival. If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, or is not what you ordered, contact us and we will put it right.
5. Returns and refunds
Change of mind. Our products are supplied in sealed packaging and cannot be resold once opened, so we do not accept change of mind returns.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if an item arrives damaged or incomplete, or is not what you ordered. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not subject to that time limit.
Refunds. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to choose a refund or a replacement, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and if it is not fixed, to a refund.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Apart from those rights, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profits, arising from your use of our products or services. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the product.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, is the property of Adelaide Chemical Solutions Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright law. Unauthorised use of any content on this site is prohibited.
9. Privacy
Personal information you provide through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and apply to orders placed after that point.
